Cookie policy
Last updated: April 2026
This page describes which cookies Hundeskovene.dk uses, what they are used for, and how you can control them yourself. For a broader description of how we handle personal data, see our Privacy policy.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. Cookies are used to remember your settings, keep you logged in, and understand how the site is used. They cannot contain viruses or harmful code.
We also use local storage (localStorage) in your browser to save your cookie consent. It is not a cookie, but it has the same purpose - remembering your choice from visit to visit.
Cookie categories
We use three categories of cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" button or the cookie banner.
Necessary cookies
These are needed for the site to work properly. They cannot be switched off.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
cookie_consent (localStorage) | Remembers your cookie consent from visit to visit | Until you clear your browser data |
sb-fdlnbmschxulbnwfadaz-auth-token | Supabase login session (only if you are logged in) | 7 days |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare bot protection (only for spam prevention) | 30 minutes |
Analytics cookies
Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve the content. Only activated after your consent. Until you have given consent, Google Analytics runs in Consent Mode v2 and only sends anonymised signals without setting cookies.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics 4 - user ID across visits | 13 months |
_ga_227RWD9RW4 | Google Analytics 4 - session ID for our property | 13 months |
You can permanently disable Google Analytics across all websites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Marketing cookies
Used to measure the effect of affiliate links and for embedded social content. Only activated after your consent. Cookies from Partner-ads may be set when you click an affiliate link, and Facebook may set cookies if you interact with embedded Facebook content on the page.
The typical marketing cookies you may come across are:
- Partner-ads tracking cookies - tracking of affiliate clicks (only set when you click an affiliate link)
- Facebook cookies - only if you interact with embedded Facebook content
How to change your cookie choice
You can change your cookie choice at any time by deleting your consent from your browser's local storage and reloading the page, after which the cookie banner is shown again.
How to delete cookies in your browser
You can also delete existing cookies directly in your browser. Please note: if you delete or block cookies, some features on the site may stop working as expected - for example, you may be logged out and your settings reset.
