Svendborg Municipality is in southern Funen, facing the idyllic Det Sydfynske Øhav (the South Funen Archipelago) with its coast, islets and rolling moraine landscape. From the harbour town of Svendborg the landscape stretches across Tåsinge and inland towards lush woods and fields near Gudme and Lundeborg.
