Dog parks in and near Svendborg

Svendborg lies on Det Sydfynske Øhav (the South Funen Archipelago), with views over the sound, islands and coastal slopes. The town is surrounded by woodland, beaches and hilly moraine landscape, and the bridge to Tåsinge opens up even more nature just south of town. The mix of coast and woodland makes the area a lovely place to walk your dog.

In and around Svendborg you will find several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks with room to play and run. The fenced Tåsinge Hundepark lies just south of town, and on the coast to the east you will find the dog park in Lundeborg. Several of the places have a good woodland floor and shade, and there are fenced areas where puppies and young dogs can safely be let off the lead.

Svendborg is a coastal town with plenty of chances for walks along the water. On an official dog beach your dog may swim and run off-lead all year round, while on ordinary beaches it must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. So there is room for both a dip and a run by the archipelago.
