Dog parks in and near Årslev

Årslev lies in central Funen between Odense and Ringe, in a gently rolling landscape of woodland, fields and small lakes. The town is close to several woodland areas and to Funen countryside that is made for long dog walks. It is quiet and green almost all the way round.

In and around Årslev you will find a wide choice of woodland dog parks and fenced dog parks with woodland floor, shade and plenty of room. Sollerup Hundeskov and Espe Skov ved Ringe, both fenced, offer woodland walks, while Tåsinge Hundepark and several private dog parks offer fenced options. The area is well equipped, with both agility and puppy-friendly areas, so there is something for young and active dogs alike.

From Årslev both bathing lakes and the Funen coast are within reach. On ordinary beaches dogs must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. If you want to swim and play off-lead all year round, you need to find an official dog beach.
