    About Tarup-Davinde Hundeskov

    Tarup-Davinde Hundeskov near Odense is a fenced dog park covering 6.2 hectares. At the entrance, there is a dispenser with dog waste bags in case you have forgotten your own, as well as bins for disposing of dog waste. Langager Sø is in the middle of the area, and dogs are allowed to swim in the lake. There is also a designated dog beach with picnic tables and benches. Part of the dog park is closed from 16 April to 1 August to protect nesting birds. Please also note that walking on the ice in winter is prohibited. Groundwater warms the lake, making the ice extremely dangerous and potentially life-threatening.

    Lille hyggelig hundeskov, der er bare så mudret på alle stierne, der er grusgrav over alt i området, måske en god ide med lidt sand på alle stierne, som man har ude på de stier der ligger uden for hundeskoven. Godt for både hunde poter og menneske sko. Måske fordi der ligger dræn flere steder inde i hundeskoven. Nu bruger min hund ikke vandet, måske man også her skulle sætte hegn omkring, man kunne jo lave en låge til dem der ønske, at hunden får en svømmetur, det kan jo være utrolig farligt ved vintertid, som man oplevede sidste vinter.

    Kommunen er her i starten af maj gået i gang med forbedringer af hundeskoven. Der bliver beskåret træer, anlagt stier, også til gangbesværede og der kommer flere borde/bænkesæt.
