Dog parks in Odense Municipality (Odense Kommune)

Odense Municipality combines the capital of Funen with surprisingly green surroundings of woodland, the winding Odense Å (the river) and the lakes at Tarup-Davinde. From the city centre, parks and woodland are only a short way off. That makes Denmark's third-largest city a convenient place to walk your dog.

The dog parks in Odense Municipality are spread across the districts and suburbs. In the north you can walk in Kattebjerg Hundeskov near Allesø, and by the old gravel pits you will find the fenced Tarup-Davinde Hundeskov with a lake and woodland. Several places have agility and a puppy area, so even the smallest dogs can get started safely.

At Tarup-Davinde and along Odense Å there is plenty of water where your dog can cool off after a long walk. Remember that your dog must be on a lead outside the actual dog parks, and that local rules on swimming may apply at the lakes and the river. Keep your dog under control so that both wildlife and other visitors can enjoy nature.
