Birkeparken Hundeindhegning

The dog enclosure by Birkeparken and Hybenparken is a fenced off-lead area in Odense. Located right between the two housing estates, it gives local dogs an easy, accessible place to run off-lead as part of the daily walk. The fully fenced area creates a safe space in the middle of town, where dogs can let off steam undisturbed, sniff around and socialise with other four-legged neighbours. Its central location also makes it a natural, informal meeting place for local dog owners. Although the fence shields it from the surroundings, the usual rules for public parks still apply. Owners are expected to have full control of their dog so it can be called back at any time. It's also important to be considerate towards other visitors and always pick up after your dog, so the area stays clean and pleasant for everyone.
