Dog parks in and near Bogense

Bogense is a charming market town on the Nordfyn coast, with a harbour, old streets and the Kattegat right outside. Around the town the landscape alternates between coast, woods and open fields. That gives you plenty of options for varied walks with your dog, both by the water and in the woods.

In and around Bogense there are several woodland dog parks and fenced dog parks within reach. Flyvesandet Hundeskov out on the sandy spit is a beautiful place for an outing, and Otterup Hundeskov offers woods and shade closer by. Some places also have agility and a puppy area for the little ones.

Bogense faces straight out onto the Kattegat, and the coast is part of a good dog walk. On ordinary beaches your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on the official dog beaches may your dog swim and run off-lead all year.
