Dog parks in Middelfart Municipality (Middelfart Kommune)

Middelfart Municipality lies on Lillebælt (the Little Belt) in north-western Funen, framed by the coast, rolling hills and coastal woods. The landscape shifts between salt meadows, deciduous woodland and open fields. That makes the municipality a varied place to walk your dog, whatever the season.

The woodland dog parks and fenced dog parks in Middelfart Municipality are spread across the towns. Staurby Skov Hundeskov offers a woodland walk right out to Lillebælt, while Middelfart Hundeskov is a dog park close to town with plenty of room. Several places have agility and a puppy area, and a single private grassy dog park adds to the public dog parks.

Although Lillebælt is never far away, the off-lead running here is in the woods rather than by the water. In the coastal woods you can take long walks with sea views, shade and lots of scents to explore. Remember that your dog must be on a lead in ordinary woodland and may only run off-lead inside the dog park area.

The dog parks in Middelfart Kommune are in postcodes 5463 Harndrup, 5500 Middelfart, 5580 Nørre Aaby and 5592 Ejby.
