Vissenbjerg Hundeskov

Vissenbjerg Hundeskov, west of Odense, is a fully fenced natural area of about one hectare - just under 1.5 football pitches. It was laid out specifically for walking dogs off-lead. The area adjoins the town's path network, with access via the passage between Duedalen 53 and 55, where you can also park, making it easy to reach from the surrounding residential areas. The heart of Vissenbjerg Hundeskov is a natural lake with water lilies, where dogs can swim and cool off. The terrain combines open grass for running with denser planting, giving the landscape natural variety. For visitors there are benches and bins, and the whole area is physically bounded by wire fencing and shelter belts towards the neighbouring roads and houses.
