Samsø Hundeskov

Samsø Hundesjov UDE is the island's first and so far only dedicated off-lead area. This dog park is a private, club-run facility that differs from public dog parks in that you pay to use it and must book in advance. When you book the park, you have exclusive use of the whole area. That means you get the site entirely to yourself, which makes it an ideal, safe setting for focused training or a calm walk. If you want your dog to socialise, you are welcome to invite other dogs in during your booked slot. The off-lead area covers 1.5 hectares and lies close to the site's other facility, the indoor hall "Samsø Hundesjov inde". The whole outdoor area is securely surrounded by a 140-centimetre-high fence. As an extra safety measure, the fence is hare-proof right down at ground level, so even small dogs cannot slip underneath. The fenced area is always locked to outsiders, and you need an active booking to get in. There are two payment options depending on your needs: you can either pay a fixed hourly rate for the time you book, or buy an annual subscription that lets you book and use the park as much as you like.
