Niels Bohrs Allé Hundeskov

Niels Bohrs Allé Hundeskov is an off-lead area close to the city in Odense M. It was set up by Odense Municipality on the green wedge between Niels Bohrs Allé and Bramstrupvej, close to Cortex Park and Syddansk Universitet (SDU, the University of Southern Denmark). The area is fully fenced with a wire fence and access gates, so dogs can safely run free and socialise off-lead. The terrain is flat and consists of a large grass area with scattered trees around the edges. As the dog park was laid out on what was originally rough grassland, the ground can feel a little uneven underfoot, and it gets soft and muddy in wet spells. The area is easy to reach from the surrounding tarmac cycle and footpaths. At the entrance to the fenced area there is a rubbish bin for dog bags, making it easy to keep the area clean. If you arrive by car, the most direct and convenient parking is at the end of Klingstrupvænget. From here you can walk straight into the area without crossing any major roads. For locals in Odense M, the dog park is also easy to reach on foot or by bike via the district's path network.
