Midtfyns Hundecenter Fritløbsareal

Midtfyns Hundecenter has a private off-lead and training area of about 10.000 m² (1 hectare) at Vesterskovvej 5 in Årslev - roughly halfway between Odense and Ringe, close to Svendborgmotorvejen. The area is hired by the hour for exclusive use, which makes it suitable for dogs that need calm surroundings without contact with unfamiliar dogs, or that lack reliable recall. The area is being developed all the time with play equipment and planting for activation. The area is secured with a 165 cm high galvanised deer fence. The fence has a finer mesh towards the bottom and a 5-10 cm anchored fold along the ground, so dogs can neither squeeze under nor push the fence up. Bring your own drinking water and a water bowl for your dog, as there is no water on site. Access requires advance online booking and payment in advance. When you arrive, your dogs must stay in the car until the previous hirer has left the area and put their own dogs away. Outside the fence, dogs must be on a lead. You must leave the area 5 minutes before your booked hour ends to allow a smooth changeover. Pick up after your dog, fill in any holes it digs, and dogs must be healthy and vaccinated. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the booked start for a refund (minus an administration fee of 10%).
