Nr. Broby Hundepark (Nørre Broby)

In scenic surroundings along Odense Å you will find Nr. Broby Hundeskov. This spacious fenced area covers 1.7 hectares, roughly two and a half football pitches. The landscape offers a good mix of actual woodland and open green areas. A network of paths runs across the grassy areas, while in several places the grass is left to grow tall, giving dogs plenty of chance to play and explore in the tall vegetation. Nr. Broby Hundeskov has a number of facilities that make a visit pleasant for both dogs and owners. In the middle of the dog park there is a large shelter with tables and benches, and there are also benches around the area where you can take a break. If you come by car, use the car park at the end of Kirkestræde opposite the churchyard, just north of Nørre Broby Kirke. By the churchyard there is also a public toilet and running water. To ensure a safe, pleasant experience for all visitors, a number of fixed rules apply in the dog park, and you visit at your own risk. Under the Danish Dog Act (hundeloven), the owner is always fully responsible for the dog. To enter, your dog must also meet all legal requirements: it must have the mandatory liability insurance, be ID-marked, be registered with Dansk Hunderegister and wear a clear dog tag with the owner's name and address. Although dogs may run freely inside the fence, your dog must always be accompanied by someone who has full control of it and can call it back at any time. You must also always pick up after your dog and put the waste in the bins provided, to keep the area clean and pleasant for everyone.
