Dog parks in Lolland Municipality (Lolland Kommune)

Lolland Municipality is a flat, fertile island in southern Denmark with long coastlines, fields as far as the eye can see and the idyllic Maribosøerne (the Maribo lakes) in the middle. The open landscape, the quiet woods and the nearby coast make Lolland a lovely place to stretch your legs with your dog. The skies are wide and there is plenty of space almost everywhere.

The dog parks in Lolland Municipality are spread across its towns. Near Maribo you can take a walk in the fenced Maribo Hundeskov close to the lakes, and in the south Rødbyhavn Hundepark is a fenced dog park where your dog can run off-lead and play. Several of the sites have agility equipment and a puppy area, so even the smallest dogs can get started safely.

Lolland has many kilometres of coast, and a swim is tempting on a warm day. Mind the rules: on ordinary beaches your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on an official dog beach may your dog swim and run off-lead all year round.

The dog parks in Lolland Kommune are in postcodes 4900 Nakskov, 4913 Horslunde, 4930 Maribo and 4970 Rødby.
