Dog parks in and near Sandved

Sandved is a small railway town in the landscape of central Zealand between Slagelse and Næstved, surrounded by fields, hedgerows and scattered patches of woodland. The quiet gravel roads and field paths make it an obvious place to walk your dog, and larger nature areas are close by in every direction.

Dalmose Hundeskov and Pedersborg Hundeskov, both fenced, offer woodland and shade, while places such as Trellemarken Hundepark and Vordingborg Hundepark give safe, fenced settings for play and training - several with agility equipment.

That makes it easy to find a place, whether your dog is to run off-lead in the woods or play behind a fence.

Sandved lies some way inland, so nature here is about woodland, meadow and stream rather than coast. Along the streams and small lakes in the area, hot days can offer a refreshing dip, with your dog kept on a lead out of consideration for wildlife and other visitors.
