Dalmose Hundeskov

Dalmose Hundeskov in Ravnebækskoven is a lovely, peaceful dog park in the north-west of Dalmose. It covers a total of 0.9 hectares (9,000 square metres) and offers beautiful, quiet surroundings where dogs can move freely while owners enjoy the varied nature. The wood is easy to reach via Stationsvej. Unusually, the dog park here is split into two separate fenced dog parks. The two fenced areas face each other, separated by the path that runs into the wood from Stationsvej. This gives great flexibility: you can spread out if there are many dogs on the 0.9 hectares, or simply enjoy the two different areas. In the dog park you will find tables and benches, ideal for relaxing or a picnic in the green. Just outside the dog parks there is a shelter area with both a public toilet and a handy tap, making it really easy to refill your dog's water bowl after active play. The usual guidelines apply in the two fenced areas. You are expected to have full control over your dog so it can be called to heel at any time. It is also important to show consideration for other visitors and always pick up after your dog, so the wood stays pleasant for everyone. When you leave the fenced areas and continue into the rest of Ravnebækskoven, your dog must of course always be on a lead, out of consideration for wildlife and other visitors.
