Trellemarken Hundepark

You will find Trellemarken Hundepark on the southern edge of Vordingborg, beautifully located right by Storstrømmen. This is where the recreational nature area Trellemarken lies. This municipally owned nature area covers a total of 16 hectares. Within this large, scenic landscape, a special circular area has been set aside for dogs. It is important to note that the dog park does not have a physical fence. Instead, the off-lead area itself is a space of 1.5 hectares, naturally bordered by tall trees. The trees form a clear, distinct ring around the area. Within this natural ring of trees you may walk your dog off-lead, provided you have full control over it and remember to pick up after it. If you take your dog out onto the remaining 14.5 hectares of Trellemarken, it must be kept on a lead. The area has a network of gravel roads and natural footpaths that make it easy to get around the landscape and offer good nature experiences in the open air. If you need a rest along the way, there are cosy picnic tables with benches where you can take a break and enjoy the peace. Trellemarken offers much more than just dog walking. The path network links the park nicely with Oringepynten, the nearby beach and the town's other green corridors. If you fancy a longer walk, you can follow the marked Hjertesti (heart trail), which takes visitors through Trellemarken and all the way round Oringepynten. The area's high nature value is also underlined by the regional hiking route Sjællandsleden crossing straight through this beautiful landscape.
