Dog parks in Vordingborg Municipality (Vordingborg Kommune)

Vordingborg Municipality is in south-east Zealand and covers both the mainland and the island of Møn with the world-famous Møns Klint. The landscape ranges from chalk cliffs and beech woods to stretches of coast and lush fields around Vordingborg, Præstø and Stege. The nearby coast and many woods give you plenty of options for walks with your dog.

In Vordingborg Municipality there are several dog parks spread between the towns. Stege Hundeskov on Møn and Præstø Hundeskov, both fenced, offer woodland and shade, while Trellemarken Hundepark is a fenced dog park where your dog can run free inside the fenced dog area. At Avnø and Vintersbølle there is also open nature and grazing land with plenty of room to move.

With coast on both Zealand and Møn, the municipality is ideal for beach walks with your dog. On ordinary beaches your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on official dog beaches may your dog swim and run off-lead all year, so check the signs before you head down to the water at Præstø or on Møn.

The dog parks in Vordingborg Kommune are in postcodes 4720 Præstø, 4750 Lundby, 4760 Vordingborg, 4780 Stege, 4791 Borre and 4792 Askeby.
