Dog parks in Faxe Municipality (Faxe Kommune)

Faxe Municipality lies in south-east Zealand facing Faxe Bugt (Faxe Bay), where the coast, the old limestone quarries and the rolling hills shape the landscape. Inland, woods spread around Haslev and Karise, while the Feddet peninsula juts into the bay with beach and pine forest. It is a municipality with both coast and woodland within a short distance.

Around the municipality you will find several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks, often with good woodland floor and shade under the trees. Dalby Hundeskov and Karise Hundeskov, both fenced, are close to the towns, and on the coast you will find the dog park at Feddet Camping. The places are spread out, so there is usually an option nearby, wherever you live.

Faxe is a coastal municipality, and along Faxe Bugt there is plenty of room for walks by the water. Mind the rules, though: on ordinary beaches your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run free from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on an official dog beach may your dog swim and run free all year.

The dog parks in Faxe Kommune are in postcodes 4640 Faxe, 4653 Karise and 4690 Haslev.
