Dog parks in and near Hundested

Hundested lies at the tip of Halsnæs, where Isefjord and the Kattegat meet and dunes line the coast. The town is surrounded by plantations, heath and sea on three sides, and both woodland paths and the water's edge are close by. That mix of coast and woodland makes Hundested a lovely place to walk your dog.

In and around Hundested you will find several woodland dog areas and a fenced dog park close to town. Liseleje Plantage and Arresødal Skov offer pine woods, dunes and soft paths with plenty of shelter, while Hundested Hundelegeplads is fenced, so your dog can run off-lead. Grønnehave Skov and Ullerup Skov Hundeskov (fenced) add quiet routes where both puppies and adult dogs can get out and roam.

The nature around Hundested is shaped by coastal plantations, where the pines stay green all year and give shelter when the wind picks up from the sea.
