Dog parks in and near Nykøbing Sj

Nykøbing Sjælland lies in Odsherred between Sejerøbugten and Isefjord, in a landscape of hills, woodland and coast. The varied countryside around the town gives you plenty of options for dog walks, both in the woods and by the water.

In and around Nykøbing Sj there are several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks within driving distance. Some are fenced with plenty of room for free play, while the woods give shade and shelter.

Try Høve Skov or Grønnehave Skov, which are among the area's lovely natural spots.

With Sejerøbugten and Isefjord close by, there is lots of coast to explore.

Remember the rules: on ordinary beaches your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on an official dog beach may your dog swim and run off-lead all year.
