Dog parks in and near Fårevejle

Fårevejle is in Odsherred between Lammefjorden and Sejerø Bugt, in a landscape of hills, woods and fertile fjord land. The scenery changes between broadleaf woodland, fields and coast, and a green path or a walk by the water is never far away when your dog needs a walk.

In and around Fårevejle you will find several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks with shade, woodland floor and room to move. Høve Skov and Klosterskov Hundeskov, which is fenced, are among the places where your dog can walk under the trees.

A few dog playgrounds close to town offer a fenced alternative nearby. Several of the woods have agility, so there is room for a bit of activity too.

Fårevejle is close to the coast, and Odsherred's beaches along Sejerø Bugt are lovely places for a walk. On ordinary beaches your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run free from 1 October to 31 March, always under control - only on official dog beaches may it swim and run free all year. Outside the season there is plenty of room for long walks by the water.
