Nykøbing F. hundepark

Nykøbing F. Hundepark is on Østerbro. The off-lead area opened its gates to the town's four-legged residents in 2022. This lovely dog park is attractively laid out in Æblelunden, which is centrally located right next to the roundabout by Silvan, and stretches out towards Gedservej, Prinsholmvej and Gedser Landevej. The whole area is properly fenced, and you enter through a familiar, practical gate arrangement, so dogs can safely be let off the lead. What makes this dog park special is its charming planting: the area is full of lovely apple and pear trees that create a pleasant atmosphere. Between the many fruit trees there are small, quiet nooks and green spots, giving plenty of room for different activities - whether your visit is about focused training, calm sniffing work or wild play with new dog friends. The dog park is also set up with the two-legged visitors' comfort in mind. Picnic tables with benches are placed around the area, where you can sit and enjoy the surroundings in peace while the dogs nose around in the grass. If you come by car, you can park in the small car park with direct access from Gedservej. It has room for four to five cars at a time, which makes it very easy and convenient to drop by the orchard.
