Dog parks in and near Rønne

Rønne is the main town on Bornholm, beautifully set facing the Baltic Sea, with the coastal Blykobbe Plantage behind it and the large Almindingen forest inland. Rocky coast, woodland and sea lie close together in a small area. That makes for varied and eventful dog walks all year round.

In and around Rønne you will find several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks within reach of the town. Blykobbe Plantage and Hareløkkerne i Almindingen offer forest, shade and soft paths right down to the water, and further out there are places such as Rø Hundeskov. The forests give plenty of room to vary the walk with the seasons.

Rønne is close to the coast, and along the Baltic Sea the shoreline alternates between rocks and sandy beaches, including at Blykobbe. On ordinary beaches, dogs must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on official dog beaches may your dog swim and run off-lead all year round.
