Dog parks on Mors
On Mors you'll find a total of 3 dog parks, city dog parks and off-leash areas (not fenced) for your dog. All 3 are fenced.
Mors lies in the middle of the Limfjord and is known for its dramatic moler - the pale, folded cliffs at Hanklit and Feggeklit - along with gentle hills and a calm, rolling landscape. Wooded ridges such as Legind Bjerge give shelter and views, and the many paths make the island a lovely place to walk your dog.
Within a short distance, nature changes from open fields to dense plantations.
On Mors you will find several dog parks where your dog can romp among the trees and shade. Sindbjerg Hundeskov and Legind Bjerge Hundeskov both lie in hilly woodland with good paths and plenty of space. There is forest and shelter here, so the walk works in both sun and rain.
Mors is surrounded by the Limfjord, and along the coast there are plenty of quiet beaches to walk along.
Remember that dogs must be on a lead on ordinary beaches from 1 April to 30 September; only from 1 October to 31 March may your dog run off-lead - always under control. Only on an official dog beach may your dog swim and run off-lead all year.
