Dog parks in Albertslund Municipality (Albertslund Kommune)

Albertslund Municipality lies west of Copenhagen, with the large Vestskoven forest as its green neighbour. Although the municipality is mostly town and housing, there is surprisingly much nature within reach, with woods, lakes and open meadows. Vestskoven is one of the largest new-forest projects in the Copenhagen area and offers lots of room for long walks. That makes Albertslund a good place to walk a dog close to the city.

Albertslund Municipality has a couple of good options for dog owners. Vestskoven hundefold (fenced dog area) gives your dog a fenced space where it can safely run off-lead, while Kongsholmparken offers green paths and water close to the residential areas. The places are close to town and easy to reach on foot or by bike, so a walk in the green is never far away.

Outside the fenced dog area there is plenty of nature to explore in Vestskoven, where paths wind through young broadleaf woods and lakes and ponds bring the walk to life. Here your dog must be on a lead out of consideration for wildlife and other visitors, but the countryside invites long, peaceful walks all year round. The mix of woods and water keeps the area varied whatever the season.

The dog parks in Albertslund Kommune are in postcode 2620 Albertslund.
