Dog parks in and near Bording

Bording lies in Central Jutland between heath, plantation and the large lakes around Silkeborg. The landscape is shaped by conifer forest, open expanses and quiet countryside. Good walks are close by, whether you want to head into the woods or out onto the heath.

In and around Bording you will find several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks with plenty of room. Løvbakkerne Hundeskov, which is fenced, offers hilly woodland terrain, and Skelhøj Plantage by Ikast Byskov has long paths through the plantation. Several places have both agility equipment and a puppy area, so the youngest can come along too.

Bording is an inland town, but there is lots of water nearby. Lakes such as Hampen Sø and Bølling Sø are within reach, and the surrounding plantations give shelter and shade. Here you can take long walks with your dog all year round.
