Dog parks in and near Engesvang

Engesvang lies in Central Jutland between lakes, plantations and woodland, just a stone's throw from Bølling Sø and the large woods around Silkeborg. Green nature is right outside the door with woodland paths, lakeshores and open country, making the town a good base for varied dog walks.

In and around Engesvang you will find a wide choice of dog parks with woodland, shade and plenty of room. The fenced Løvbakkerne Hundeskov and Sejs Hundeskov ved De små fisk are among the popular places, and several of the woods have agility equipment and areas suitable for puppies. A couple of private dog parks (for hire) add to the many public woods.

Engesvang is inland, but the lakes around the town let your dog cool off by the water on a hot day. At Bølling Sø and the other lakeshores, woods and water lie close together, but remember that in many places your dog must be on a lead and always kept under control for the sake of the wildlife and birdlife. Otherwise it is the woods and quiet nature areas that carry the dog walks.
