Skovsborg Hundepark

Skovsborg Hundepark is a private, fully fenced off-lead area in scenic surroundings between Silkeborg and Viborg. The dog park covers 1.3 hectares and works by booking, which gives you a safe and exclusive setting for your visit. There is no access without booking in advance. When you book the dog park, you decide whether to have the whole off-lead area to yourself or to invite dog friends you know inside the fence to play and socialise (for an extra charge). The off-lead area is very well laid out and divided with both physical exercise and mental stimulation in mind. On one side of the large area there is interesting training equipment, ideal for building your dog's balance, body control and obedience and the teamwork between dog and owner. The other side of the park is kept completely open, giving plenty of room for free running, full speed and lots of exercise. The park is open every day of the week from 07.00 to 22.00. Hiring the area costs DKK 60 per hour for a single household. Pay by MobilePay to number 63477 and write your name, the date and the time in the message field to secure your booking. If you want to share the visit with dog owners from other households, there is a supplement of DKK 40 per extra household per hour. To make the changeover between visitors safe and smooth, a booked hour actually lasts 55 minutes. This means the area can be left calmly before the next booking. Please wait in your car with your dog until the previous users have their dog safely in their car. All use of and training in the area is at your own risk. Because other dogs may have allergies, it is a strict and important rule that you clear up thoroughly after yourself and remove any leftover food or dropped treats from the grass. You must of course also pick up after your dog and put it in the rubbish bins provided.
