Dog parks in and near Bjerringbro

Bjerringbro has a beautiful setting in Gudenådalen (the Gudenå valley), where Denmark's longest river winds through woods and meadows. The town is surrounded by wooded hills, river valleys and lakes, and nature is right on your doorstep. That gives you plenty of chances for dog walks in varied terrain.

In and around Bjerringbro you will find several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks within reach. They offer woodland, shade and room to move, and some have both agility equipment and a puppy area for the youngest. Bjerringbro Hundeskov, which is fenced, lies close to town, while Sønderskov Hundeskov by Fussingø offers a bigger woodland experience.

Bjerringbro isn't on the coast, but there's plenty of water. Gudenåen (the Gudenå river) and nearby lakes such as Tange Sø invite quiet walks along the shore, and the surrounding woods give shade in summer. The nature around the town is accessible all year.
