Klejtrup Hundeskov

On Sandstræde in Klejtrup you'll find a cosy little patch of woodland dedicated to the town's four-legged residents. It works as a classic fenced dog park and is densely planted with trees, giving dogs plenty of chances to sniff and explore in natural, sheltered surroundings. The woodland came about through a local initiative by Klejtrup Borgerforening (the residents' association), which bought and fenced the land next to Energi Viborg's rainwater basin. The area is lovely and inviting, with practical facilities such as benches where owners can rest under the trees, plus a bin to keep the woods free of dog bags. Although the woodland is fully fenced so dogs can run free, you must always have full control of your dog and be considerate when you meet other visitors, with or without dogs.
