Dog parks in and near Randers

Randers lies where the Gudenå flows into Randers Fjord, surrounded by river valleys, woodland and the hilly landscape towards Djursland. The city combines urban life with quick access to woods and water.

That makes Randers an obvious base for varied dog walks all year round.

This page brings together woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks within a radius of Randers. Fladbro hundeskov (fenced) and Sønderskov Hundeskov at Fussingø offer woodland, shade and paths along the water, and further out you will find places such as Auning Hundeskov (fenced).

Several places have agility equipment and plenty of room for puppies, so both play and training can take place safely.

To the east the radius reaches all the way to the Kattegat coast at Fjellerup, with a beach and plenty of room by the water.

On ordinary beaches your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on official dog beaches may it swim and run off-lead all year.
