Klejtrup Hundemark

On Sandstræde in Klejtrup you'll find a large, fenced grassy dog park with plenty of room for four-legged friends. Right next to it is Klejtrup Hundeskov, a smaller fenced patch of densely planted woodland, if you'd like some variety. The dog wood offers trees and shade, while the dog field is a large open area. It's ideal for activities, wild play and dogs that need to stretch their legs and get their heart rate up in a safe setting. The big grass area came about through a local initiative. Today it is a hugely popular space where dogs love to romp. There are good facilities for the humans too: benches for a well-earned rest, and a bin to make it easy to get rid of what you've picked up. To make sure everyone has a good visit, a firm rule applies in the fenced activity area: you must have full control of your dog at all times.
