Skovholmen Hundeskov

At Skovholmen in Randers SØ (south-east Randers), part of the open grassland has been set aside for dog walking. Your dog may run off-lead here, as long as you have full control of it. The dog area covers 1.5 hectares, about the size of two football pitches. There are paths in the area, and the ground is mainly grass. Please note that the area is not fenced. Your dog must therefore come when called, and a dog that tends to run off is better suited to a fenced dog park. Skovholmen is a former landfill site where gas is now extracted for district heating. There is no water tap, so bring water for your dog. The area is not suitable for wheelchairs. There is parking by the area, and access is free. The area is part of Randers Municipality.
