Dog parks in and near Tilst

Tilst lies north-west of Aarhus in a green belt of woodland, lakes and open fields. The city is close, but nature is right outside your door, with woodland in several directions. That makes everyday dog walks easy and varied.

In and around Tilst you will find a string of woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks with plenty of room to run and play. True Skov is close by, and to the east you will find, among others, Mollerup Skov and Lystrup Skov (not fenced). Several places have agility equipment and fenced areas, so both trained dogs and puppies can get out safely on the woodland floor.

Tilst lies inland, and the area is shaped by its woods and many lakes. At the lakes suitable for swimming your dog can cool off on a hot day where this is allowed, while it must be kept under control in the woods. With shade in summer and shelter in winter, the areas can be used all year round.
