Lysbro Skov ved Ørnsø

The dog park in Lysbro Skov by Ørnsø is a 25-hectare (500 x 500 metres) dog park south of Herningvej. In the middle of the wood you'll find Pøtsø. There are good paths around the dog park. The dog park is not fenced. There is a car park on Gjessøvej, opposite no. 21, with a picnic table set. The wood continues almost to Lysbro. The path is called Ørnsøstien. You can walk around Ørnsø, which is about 3 km, but dogs must be on a lead except in the dog park. A beautiful path with benches and tables, and art at Silkeborg Bad. Note that north of Herningvej you'll find the other part of the dog park, up towards Langesø.
