Kobskov ved Lyngsø

Kobskov ved Lyngsø in Silkeborg is a 12-hectare dog park, roughly the size of 16 football pitches. It borders Lyngsø, and your dog can run off-lead on walks through the woods. The woods are NOT fenced, so your dog must be under full control. Note that the dog park is only in Kobskov. If you carry on around Almindsø, your dog must be on a lead once you enter Vesterskoven on the south side of the lake. In the summer half of the year, off-lead dogs should be kept away from Østre and Vestre Søbad out of consideration for swimmers. There are benches but no water tap in the dog park, so bring water. The area is not suitable for people with disabilities. There is parking for about 10 cars. Entry is free, and the dog park is run by Naturstyrelsen Søhøjlandet (the Danish Nature Agency).
