Voel Hundeskov

Voel Hundeskov in the village of Voel east of Silkeborg is a fenced off-lead area of exactly 1.7 hectares, roughly 2.5 international football pitches. The site is young mixed woodland where dogs can explore and sniff along naturally formed trails. As the woodland is fairly dense with no large open spaces, it's ideal for dogs that love exploring the forest floor rather than running in the open. Be aware that the ground and paths get very muddy in the wet months, and there are no facilities such as water or bins, so bring your own water and take your rubbish home. Note too that there is no car park directly next to the dog park. If you arrive by car, the best option is to park at the end of Margrethesvej at the parking pin on the map. From there, put your dog on a lead and follow the path north, which after a few hundred metres leads straight to the dog park entrance.
