Dog parks in and near Hals

Hals lies on the Kattegat, where the Limfjord meets the sea, in a landscape of coast, salt meadows and woodland. Although the town is known for its beach, it is mainly the woods in the surrounding countryside that set the scene for daily dog walks.

In and around Hals we bring together woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks within reach of the town. Trekantskoven hundeskov and Gandrup Hundeskov are among the places where your dog can run and play, and several areas have plenty of space and a puppy area.

The dog parks listed here are in the woods and by the lakes in the surrounding countryside, including around Poulstrup Sø and Dronninglund. If your walk takes you down to the coast, your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March - always under control.
