Dog parks in and near Vodskov

Vodskov lies north of Aalborg up against the wooded Hammer Bakker, one of North Jutland's largest continuous natural areas. Hills, woodland and heath meet the town directly, and quiet paths are close by. This makes Vodskov an obvious base for long dog walks in varied terrain.

In and around Vodskov there are several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks with plenty of space. Hammer Bakker (fenced) and Trekantskoven hundeskov (not fenced) offer hilly woodland terrain, while Budumvej Hundeskov (fenced) and Østerådalen by Sydskoven lie towards Aalborg.

Many of the places have a puppy area, so even the youngest dogs can get off to a safe start in woodland and shade.

Vodskov is above all surrounded by woodland, hills and heath, and this is where the best walks are. In Hammer Bakker the landscape changes between old woodland, open glades and small lakes where your dog can have a cooling swim. Remember that your dog must be on a lead outside the fenced dog parks out of consideration for the rich wildlife.
