Hærvejen Nord hundeskov

At the Hærvejen Nord rest area on Midtjyske Motorvej (route 18) there is a fenced dog park of about 3,000 m², a little over half a football pitch. The rest area is between exit 6 and exit 7 (Tørring), in the westbound direction. It is an obvious stop on a long drive, where your dog can stretch its legs inside the fence. There is a small circular path through the area and a small lake. The rest area has public toilets about 40 m from the dog park, open around the clock, and there are many table and bench sets right next to them. There is a playground about 70 m away, so please be considerate. There is a rubbish bin, but no registered water point in the dog park; you can get water in the toilets. Access is free, and the rest area comes under Vejdirektoratet (the Danish Road Directorate).
