Dog parks in and near Vonge

Vonge is a small town in Central Jutland near Vejle, surrounded by plantations, lakes and heathland. Rørbæk Sø, Engelsholm and the large Gludsted and Palsgård woods are within easy reach. That makes Vonge a peaceful base for dog walks in woods and countryside.

In and around Vonge there are several dog parks with plenty of space and forest floor. Hampen Sø by Palsgård Skov and Hastrup Plantage hundeskov offer large, continuous nature areas, while Lindved Hundeskov is a nearby option. Several have a puppy area and gentle terrain that suits the youngest dogs well.

Vonge lies inland, where woods, heath and lakes set the scene for your walks. At Hampen Sø your dog can cool off, and the plantations give shelter and shade all year. Remember that outside the fenced dog parks, dogs must be on a lead to protect wildlife.
