Nørre Snede Hundeskov

Nørre Snede Hundeskov is in Ekkodalen in the southern part of Nørre Snede and is the town's own dog park. It is a fenced area of 2.1 hectares in a conifer wood, where your dog can run freely among the trees. There are two entrances from Horsensvej. The dog park opened in summer 2023, and Nordea-fonden (the Nordea Foundation) supported its creation through Nørre Snede Lokalråd (the local community council). There is a user group for the dog park on Facebook. If you want to carry on walking with your dog on a lead, Hjertestien runs straight from the town as a 3 or 7 km route, and Hærvejen passes through Nørre Snede. Rørbæk Sø, about 4 km south of the town, and Palsgård Skov by Hampen Sø to the north both offer longer walks in woodland and by water. By Hampen Sø there is also a larger dog park of 7 hectares with a separate puppy area.
