Dog parks in and near Tørring

Tørring lies in the Central Jutland lake highlands, where Gudenåen rises in a landscape of meadows, river valleys and woodland. The countryside is soft and green, with riverside paths and woodland edges close to town. This makes for calm and scenic surroundings for your dog walk.

In and around Tørring you will find several woodland dog areas and fenced dog parks with plenty of room to run and play. Sofienlund Skov (not fenced) and Refstrup Skov are in the area, and to the south you will find the dog parks near Vejle. Several places have agility equipment, and there are fenced areas where puppies and young dogs can safely be let off-lead.

Tørring is an inland town where the river valley and the woods set the tone. Along Gudenåen and in the woods you can go on long walks with shelter and shade all year round, and your dog can cool off in the river where this is allowed. Remember to keep your dog under control out of consideration for the birds and wildlife by the water.
