Sønderskoven Hundeskov Vejle

Sønderskoven in Vejle has a small fenced dog park of 7,600 m2 by the car park for Søndermarkshallen and Skovlegepladsen. It is about the size of one large football pitch. The dog park lies in the middle of a larger wooded area with several footpaths, so you can let your dog off-lead inside the fence and go for a walk in the wood afterwards. Because it is fenced and easy to oversee, it is a good choice for dogs that are not yet completely reliable on recall. In the dog park there are tables and benches, a fire pit and a rubbish bin, but no water point, so bring water for your dog. There is a public toilet about 150 m away, and a covered picnic area is about 200 m from the dog park. Skovlegepladsen (the woodland playground) is close by. Entry is free, and the dog park is run by Vejle Municipality.
