Kiwi’s Hundelegeplads

Kiwi's Hundelegeplads is on Taulov Skovvej west of Fredericia and is one of the newer private dog parks in the Triangle Region (Trekantområdet). It is a small, fenced natural course laid out on a former horse paddock. It is not a built agility course but a natural area with simple obstacles such as logs and ramps to climb and jump on. There is also some training equipment to borrow if you want to work on something specific. No access without booking in advance. The course is hired exclusively. Once you have booked, you and your dog have the area to yourselves. That makes it ideal for dogs that are nervous around other dogs, have poor recall or are in rehabilitation. An hour's hire starts on the hour and ends at five to the next hour, leaving time to get out before the next guest arrives. The price is DKK 40 per hour per dog. Book by calling or texting Charlotte on 40 41 97 55. Pay by MobilePay or cash. This is private property with other animals too, including hens and cats, so keep your dog on a lead until you are inside the fence. The field is an old horse paddock and there are holes left by wildlife. The owner fills them in as she goes and keeps soil in a wheelbarrow in case you find one she has missed. If your dog digs a hole, fill it in again; there is a spade by the entrance. If you have forgotten bags, you can get them on site. You visit at your own risk.
