Dog parks in Esbjerg Municipality (Esbjerg Kommune)

Esbjerg Municipality lies on Vadehavet (the Wadden Sea) in south-west Jutland, where flat marshland, wide meadows and a fresh westerly wind shape the landscape. To the east, plantations and river valleys spread out around Bramming and Gørding, and the water is never far away.

The mix of coast, marsh and woodland makes the municipality a varied place to walk your dog all year round.

Esbjerg is very much a coastal municipality, and at Vadehavet and the bathing spots along the coast you and your dog can enjoy the open landscape together.

Mind the rules: on ordinary beaches your dog must be on a lead from 1 April to 30 September and may only run off-lead from 1 October to 31 March, always under control. Only on an official dog beach may your dog swim and run off-lead all year, so check the signs before the lead comes off.
