Dog parks in Ishøj Municipality (Ishøj Kommune)

Ishøj Municipality lies on the green edge of Greater Copenhagen, with Vestskoven and Hedelandet as nearby nature areas to the north and west. Although the municipality is compact, green corridors, fields and woods where your dog can get out for a walk are never far away.

Good connections make it easy to combine everyday walks with longer trips into nature.

Dog life centres on a couple of good places. The fenced Ishøj Hundeskov offers woodland and shade with paths through varied terrain, while Vildtbanegård Hundepark is a fenced dog park where your dog can play freely and safely behind the fence.

The two places complement each other well, so both the daily walk and play with other dogs are covered.

Outside the dog parks there is plenty of opportunity for long walks in the open countryside and the nearby woods. Ishøj Hundeskov is especially lovely in summer, when the trees give shelter and shade, and in autumn the woodland floor changes colour.

Keep your dog on a lead where signs say so, so the walk is pleasant for animals and other visitors alike.

The dog parks in Ishøj Kommune are in postcode 2635 Ishøj.
