Dog parks in Syddjurs Municipality (Syddjurs Kommune)

Syddjurs Municipality lies on Djursland in East Jutland (Østjylland), where Nationalpark Mols Bjerge (Mols Bjerge National Park) unfolds with rolling hills, open grassland and views over Aarhusbugten (Aarhus Bay). The landscape alternates between steep hilltops, broadleaf woods and open fields around towns such as Ebeltoft, Rønde and Kolind. The hilly terrain makes for lovely, varied walks with your dog.

Syddjurs Municipality has several dog parks spread across its towns. Kolind Hundeskov and Nimtofte Hundeskov offer woodland and shade, while the area around Ellemandsbjerget on Helgenæs combines nature with superb views. Several places are puppy-friendly, so even the youngest dogs can get out safely.

Nature is the big attraction in Syddjurs, and dog life happens mainly in the hills and woods. In Mols Bjerge you can follow waymarked trails with your dog on a lead, and the many woods give shelter and shade all year round. If you pass by the coast, remember that dogs must be on a lead on the beach in the summer half of the year.
